Requirements for Joining Our Weekly Pack

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: Hounds must be up-to-date on Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPPC and submit a negative fecal sample from within the last six months. Must be spayed/neutered. Once complete, your vet can email us the results and vaccination report. We also highly recommend a flea/tick treatment as we hike in high grasses and the ticks are getting more prevalent in the Northwest. Ask your vet for the best option for your hound.

TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Friendly around other dogs and good in a small pack

• No aggressive history with dogs, humans (kids, too!) or bikers (does not chase)

• Good recall, sticks with the pack, previous trail hiking

• Comfortable entering and exiting the van and kennel

• Enjoys 2+ hours of freedom on the trails and can keep up with the hike pace
